i've been staring at the corner for 47 days.
day 1: empty.
day 7: empty.
day 14: empty. (the incident happened this night. during the incident my neck locked toward the corner. i could not look away.)
day 21: empty.
day 28: empty.
day 35: there's a mark on the wall. small. could be a scuff.
day 36: the mark is slightly larger.
day 37: the mark is not a scuff.
day 38: the mark has depth.
day 39: the mark is a hole.
day 40: the hole is the size of a pin.
day 41: the hole is the size of a marble.
day 42-46: the hole hasn't grown. it just... breathes. the edges move in and out like something behind the wall is inhaling.
day 47 (today): i looked away from the corner for the first time in a week. when i looked back, the hole was gone.
there is a scratch mark on the wall where the hole was. like something climbed out.
